I'm currently reading Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. So far so good, I'm about 5 chapters in. We were out of Internet the other day so I couldn't download a book to my kindle so I started on my ARC signed copy of Betrayed by Ednah Walters. I got through a few chapters of that too... I just find it so much more convenient reading off of my Kindle as of late.
I will say Ednah Walters is a great person to fan or friend on Facebook and Goodreads. She does A LOT of giveaways. I did not win a giveaway I am just a fan of her Awakened series and they are being reformatted for a grand debut soon by her new publisher and she knew how badly I wanted to read the sequel so she sent me the sweetest personalized book along with signed bookmarks and a t-shirt.
Becca Fitzpatrick also did a virtual signing recently. I've met her in real life and also signed up for the virtual signing and got my book from her a week or two ago.
And lastly for Rachel Caine fans, go to her Facebook as she also does giveaways and sent out signed bookplates. I received 5 and can now put them in some of my Morganville Vampire books! :-)
Lots of good deals out there if you look and a lot of these authors are extremely kind and generous.
Back to Anna Dressed in Blood which I like so far... very unique spin on ghosts.
I absolutely love reading, I'm huge into NA (New Adult), and YA (Young Adult) and I've been known to dabble into other genres... I read, I review, and I'm also a single mom which makes me sort of a superhero!

Goodreads & Hex Hall & My 2012 To Read List
If you have a Goodreads you can befriend me here: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/6071463-sarah (I hope)... if not let me know. I love that site, there's SO many books I never knew existed and the authors are on there too and many update with what they are reading. There are also always many giveaways on there. I think most people have a Goodreads account.
I'm still currently reading Hex Hall, only about 10% done, been busy unfortunately. Major migraine one day and then Vampire Diaries was on last night... But I plan on getting back into it and finishing it this weekend.
My 2012 books to read list has grown considerably and in no particular order:
Last Rite (Lisa DesRochers)
The Savage (Bree DeSpain)
Fallen In Love (Lauren Kate)
Rapture (Lauren Kate)
Hallowed (Cynthia Hand)
City of Lost Souls (Cassandra Clare)
Clockwork Princess (Cassandra Clare)
Toxic (Jus Accardo)
Covet (Melissa Darnell)
Book 4 in the Hush Hush Saga (Becca Fitzpatrick)
I'm sure there's more but those are the ones I can think of right now! Plus I have 4 pages on my to-read list in Goodreads.

My review on Amazon/Goodreads... Finished last night. Now I'm definitely going to have to read book 2. It had crazy twists at the end. Definitely a fantastic book!!! I have a musical to attend today for my preschooler for his Christmas presentation then hopefully some reading to be had - which I'll start now!
The Dark Divine by Bree Despain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was written really well. I bought it as a recommendation by some girls at the used bookstore, I had never heard of it because it hadn't ever showed up in my recommended reading list on my kindle. I'm glad it was recommended to me. I originally picked it up because there was a review in the back by Becca Fitzpatrick who is one of my favorite authors who said the book was great and mysterious, two of my favorite qualities in a book, I dislike knowing what is going to happen or figuring it out right away!
I don't give away spoilers just bits of information to help you decide if you want to read the book. This book is about the Divine family, with a name like that of course the dad is a Pastor. Mostly about Grace Divine and her brother Jude. (Grace is our heroine) Once a few years ago Jude's best friend Daniel lived with them and then his mother took him away. Well Daniel is back and wants to be around the Divine family again (mostly Grace), and Daniel is our hero, or is he?
Grace is convinced Daniel is a hero but someone is murdering people or at least mauling them like a dog and Jude is convinced it is Daniel. This book leaves you wondering what is going on, there are cooky characters like crazy Don Mooney, and there are normal family arguments. It's a great mixture of normal, family love, and paranormal. I really enjoyed this book from front to back and am now going to be purchasing book 2 on my Kindle today to find out what happens next as luckily for me this is one book I found after the sequel had already come out!!!
I would recommend this for teens on up. There isn't much as far as graphic scenes when it comes to kissing but there is some blood and dead body scenes that might be inappropriate for younger than teens.
