Never Too Far - Abbi Glines

Never Too Far (Too Far, #2)Never Too Far by Abbi Glines

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I literally couldn't put the book down.  I read it over the course of a few hours, completely abandoning my children for the day.  I'm really addicted to these characters so I'm sad it ends after Forever Too Far.

Okay, so this book has both Blaire and Rush POVs.  It starts with Blaire back in Alabama and she ends up deciding to go back to Florida.  She doesn't want to but she has to do what is best for her and we all know Woods and the boys pay well at the country club so she can save up money fast!  She's determined to stay away from Rush but he is determined to rush in (pun intended) and make her love him.

Rush is like perfect amazing swoon boyfriend in this book... He messes up a few times but he's quick to beg for forgiveness.  He gets torn between his family and Blaire... but YOU WILL FALL FOR HIM if you haven't already.  He's just perfect in this book.  Abbi Glines can do one thing really well and that's make you swoon over a bad boy.

Fallen Too Far - Abbi Glines

Why did I wait so long to read this?

Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1)Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So I wanted something different than the common paranormal, more mature than a YA, and a bit more young adult than 50 Shades (I read all of these types of books)... This fit the bill.  Blaire is 19 and Rush is 24... I honestly didn't care for Rush in the beginning but started falling for him when Blaire did.

There's sexual content, it's graphic!  I hadn't been expecting that.  The story was really good though and Abbi Glines knows romance!  Blaire is your typical hurt and sad "poor girl" working her way through life with the hands she's dealt.  Rush is your typical pretty, privileged, work for nothing, "rich boy" that's used to getting whatever he wants.

This book was super addictive, I read it in a day and eagerly bought number 2 and am almost finished with that one!  Yes the storyline is the typical rich boy falling for the poor girl.  These types of books sell though and if there's nothing wrong, don't change it.  The plot thickens and there is a storyline that's more complicated added to the basic concept.

Not the most in depth but I give it 5 stars because of the addiction factor... good easy quick read for someone who wants to take their mind of things for a few hours!

Incendiary - Amy Bartol

Incendiary (The Premonition, #4)Incendiary by Amy A. Bartol

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'm a big fan of the series, I devoured the first three books. It took me awhile to get into this one. I'm with the minority here but I think there was good and bad in this book. I'll start with the good, there were new characters added including someone for Russell which I had been hoping for. We get to know Evie's dad and his entourage. Brennus makes a good villain and the love story between Evie and Reed is good as we all love Reed by this point!

What I didn't like... This seemed to be a repeat of past books. Nothing new happens it's Brennus trying to get to Evie as always. Zee, Buns, and Brownie were barely in this book and those are characters I've come to love. There were times when I thought Reed could easily kill Brennus but instead it would turn to dialogue between the two and nothing was accomplished. Another man is thrown into the love quadrangle or whatever you want to call it... Xavier. Evie has enough love interests between Reed, Russell, and Brennus. She doesn't need another man to complicate the story. We are all Reed fans!

I just felt this book was a "filler" novel. It didn't bring anything new or substantial. I will read the final book because I am a fan of the series and I'm hoping for an excellent ending.
